ARIANA GRANDE REAL HAIR: Is Ariana Grande’s hair real?
Question
Ariana Grande is known for her long, thick hair. It’s one of the first things fans and critics alike notice about her, and it’s no wonder — her locks are truly an envy-inducing sight to behold. But what you might not know is that Ariana Grande’s real hair isn’t as long or full as it seems: she wears extensions ! That said, some people are confused about what kind of extensions she uses. Are they human or synthetic? How do they stay put? And why doesn’t Ariana just cut off all that extra length if she doesn’t like it? We’ve got answers for all these questions — along with some tips on how you can get the same stunning style yourself!
Ariana Grande has always been upfront about her hair extensions, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have questions.
Ariana Grande is the youngest of five siblings, born in Boca Raton, Florida to parents Joan Grande and Edward Butera. From a young age, Ariana was singing and acting in musicals at school. She started her own YouTube channel when she was only 10 years old; by that time she had already been performing since she was 4 years old!
How does she keep them in place?
- Use a hair tie.
- Bobby pins.
- Use extensions, if you want to add length and thickness to your own hair (or get rid of the ends).
- Put on a wig cap, if you’re feeling adventurous!
Is she wearing a wig now?
Ariana Grande has never worn a wig. She’s always worn extensions, which are attached to her real hair by tiny clips that can be removed by a stylist at any time. She’s also a natural brunette (like me!), so there’s no need for dyeing or bleaching here either.
While many celebrities opt for hair transplants in order to achieve fuller heads of hair, Ariana Grande has not had this procedure done on her scalp yet–and we don’t think she ever will!
Does she ever get tired of her extensions?
Ariana Grande has been wearing her extensions for a long time. “I’ve had them since I was 16,” she told W magazine in 2016. They’re so natural to me now.” But that doesn’t mean she’s immune from wanting a change once in a while–and when it comes to changing up her look, Grande is all about having fun with her hair color (she’s gone platinum blonde and pink).
That being said: “I like keeping my extensions in place,” she told InStyle UK recently. I change my hair every couple of months anyway, so they don’t get too crazy.
Ariana Grande’s hair is real, but her extensions are not.
Ariana Grande’s hair is real, but her extensions are not. Her hair is long and thick and has a natural wave to it that she maintains by avoiding heat styling whenever possible. She also has dark brown locks that she wears curly most of the time–but when she straightens it out for events or photoshoots, you can see how much length there actually is!
Ariana Grande’s hair is real. She doesn’t wear extensions, but she does have a wig that she can put on in case of emergencies. The hair on her head is real, though it’s probably not what you think it is. In fact, Ariana Grande’s hair has been questioned by fans for years because of its unusual texture and color!
